Arrival

Fürstenberg/Havel is the only water city in Germany. The name "Water City" may be used for advertising purposes because more than half of the city area consists of water. Situated on three islands and the heart of an extensive forest and lake area, it offers the best conditions for water sports enthusiasts, nature lovers or active holidaymakers. In the Fürstenberger Seenland there are some of the most beautiful and cleanest bathing lakes in Germany. If you want to experience the landscape from rather unusual means of transport, you can experience the former railway line between Fürstenberg/Havel and Lychen with the bicycle-draisine.
