Since ancient times she has been revered as the "Queen of Flowers". In the Lausitz town of Forst there is a whole park just for her - the Rose. The over 100 year old East German Rose Garden is one of the most beautiful parks in Germany. More than 900 varieties of roses bloom here, including the smallest rose in the world, as well as green and black roses. The old stock of trees and garden elements from various eras - such as pergolas, colonnades and water features - form the framework for the splendour of the flowers. A real insider tip in the East German Rose Garden is the romantic night tour. Torchlight bathes the park with its sculptures and romantic fountains in a special light.
