Archaeology to touch and participate in
The Welzow Archaeological Centre Support Association (ATZ) is an extracurricular educational institution that presents an active programme in archaeology. Where other showcases show archaeology, the ATZ provides families, adult groups and school classes with a hands-on approach to archaeology. In the centre and on the adjoining open spaces, visitors can follow many work steps from the excavation to the restored found object and become active themselves with real finds and replicas.
The ATZ presents an exhibition on the subject of "Man - Wood - Archaeology" from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages. In addition, visitors can put together their own individually tailored programmes at any time from the interactive offers.
