In the middle of the Uckermark was theMuseum for small and private railways in Gramzow for railway fans. The exhibits, which are highly worth seeing for all railway enthusiasts, are intended to illustrate the history, technology and economic significance of small and private railways in the Uckermark region, the state of Brandenburg and Germany.

Away from the large city connections, the rural area of the Mark Brandenburg was developed by a formerly dense network of small and private railways. Initially private, later also promoted with state support, they connected the centres with the flat countryside, ensured the supply of the conurbations, opened up sales areas for agriculture and at the same time led the first tourists to the province.

The small town of Gramzow also had its own railway connection, even if there is little to remind us of it today. The 25 km long route led from 1905 via Biesenbrow, Golm, Fredersdorf, Zichow, Gramzow, Lützlow and Kleinow. At the starting point in Schönermark, she made the connection to the Berlin-Stettin railway line.

Today, various railway vehicles are presented in the outdoor area of Granzow station, such as steam, diesel and electric locomotives, locomotives and sidecars, railway master cars, luggage cars, tank cars, a snow plough, a railway slewing crane, a track measuring vehicle, a small tamping machine and a bedding edge plough. In the station building there is an exhibition that tells the story of the locomotive with original pieces, display boards and many models.
Gramzow Museum Railway
On driving days, visitors can ride directly on the driver's cab of a diesel locomotive, take the museum train through the charming Uckermark hilly landscape to Damme and explore a section of the old narrow-gauge railway line themselves on the trolley rides.

There are also special offers for the annual station festival, while model railway enthusiasts and visitors get their money's worth at the model railway days. At the end of the season, the railway market in the locomotive shed is a highlight. On a Sunday in December, St. Nicholas' Day excursions take place.
