At the Tourist Information in the excursio Visitor Centre, guests can find out about the wide range of tourist opportunities in Welzow and the Lakeland. The film "80 years of landscape change in 8 minutes" in the multimedia room provides an introduction to the experiences of open-cast mining. Other films can also be shown on request.

The entrance and the entire ground floor are barrier-free.

Welzow - The city at the opencast mine offers you unusual journeys into another world. From the excursio visitor centre, tours start to the active Welzow-Süd lignite mine. With the crew car, a jeep, by bike or on foot guests can get to know the enormous dimensions and bizarre landscapes on the outskirts of the city.
