The Burg Hotel Ziesar is situated in the historic town of Ziesar with its former bishop's residence Burg Ziesar. Located on the border to Saxony-Anhalt, the town has a special historical significance. Albrecht the Bear - the first Margrave of Brandenburg - is considered the founder of Mark Brandenburg and conquered Ziesar back from the Slavs in 1157. Ziesar Castle and its museum can be visited daily during the season, except on Mondays. In this once so important place you can reside to your heart's content and enjoy yourself in the Burg Hotel with its comfortable rooms. With fresh regional cuisine and friendly service the team welcomes you in the restaurant with "Burghof", "Rittersaal" and "Kaminzimmer". The menu also offers a good selection for guests with vegan and vegetarian preferences.
