In the BARNIM PANORAMA, the visitor centre of the Barnim Nature Park and the Wandlitz Agricultural Museum are presented under one roof - a unique combination in Germany. An impressive new building with a wooden façade in the middle of the historic village centre of Wandlitz houses the exhibition "Shaped and Used Landscape". On 1,650 square metres, the history of the Barnim is told from the glacial wilderness to the modern cultural landscape and the themes of agriculture, nature and technology are brought to life.

Many attractions await the visitor in the modern ensemble. A multimedia show "20,000 years in 300 seconds" shows how the "Wild Barnim" could have been before the arrival of man. The "tractor herd" is impressive, in which agricultural machinery is set up like a herd of animals that seem to be rushing towards the visitors: from the legendary Lanz Bulldog to the ZT 323, the last tractor in the GDR, to today's high-tech equipment. Another highlight is the walk-on map. It shows the geographical dimensions of the nature park and the entire district of Barnim. It's like floating like a bird in the air over the landscape.

Outside, in the show garden, you can discover the diversity of our useful plants and experience known and less known species and varieties with all your senses. A discovery trail with a tree house, amphibian theatre and natural stage invites children in particular to discover, explore and marvel.

Discover the cultural landscape of Barnim in a whole new way and with all your senses - more than just a museum!
