In the heart of the city, the completely reconstructed Storkow Castle shines in new splendour. 800 years after its first mention in 1209, it was handed over to the citizens and guests and developed into a tourist and cultural centre. Here you will find the exhibition "Man and Nature - A Journey through Time", the Tourist Information, the City Library, the Burgstübchen, the event hall in the Palas and an open-air stage. With the permanent and special exhibitions, the varied offers such as concerts, readings and theatre, a varied stay in Storkow and its surroundings is guaranteed.

Storkow Castle presents the varied natural and cultural history of the region between the Oder, Dahme and Spree rivers in an exciting and stimulating way. The Natureum houses an exhibition on three levels in which visitors experience an individual (learning) experience through the use of multimedia and multifunctional exhibition concepts. The exhibition begins with the Ice Age and leads on three levels to the present day. On the top floor you can see, among other things, the few existing historical illustrations and maps, where the centuries-old history of the castle's origins is documented.
