Arrival

There has been a pet park in the MAFZ Erlebnispark Paar for a long time. Since 2013, the zoo has been taking in and breeding mainly old breeds of farm animals threatened with extinction during the stock refreshment and feeding of the stables and aviaries. On the occasion of BraLa 2014, the zoo was included in the network of ArcheParks of the Gesellschaft zur Erhaltung alter und gefährdetdeter Haustierrassen e.V. (Society for the Conservation of Old and Endangered Pet Breeds). (GEH). In addition to endangered breeds such as the Thuringian Forest Goat, the Girgentana Goat, the German Saddle Pig, the Red and White Husum Pig, Diepholz Geese and German Peking Ducks, wild animals such as fallow deer and mouflons are also on display in the Ark Pet Park. In addition to livestock husbandry, wildlife husbandry is also part of Brandenburg agriculture.

For the journey with the own vehicle there are sufficient parking lots available.

    • Comment: The fallow deer enclosure can be reached via 2 bridges. The first bridge is stepless and 173 cm wide. The second bridge has a step height of 3 cm and is 113 cm wide. The bird cage is lowered to 75 cm viewing height. The viewing platform cannot be reached without help. It's a lawn.
